Mr. Sultan explained that his work challenges the long-standing and distorted narrative propagated by India regarding Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the importance of re-examining historical records, first-hand accounts, and international commitments that define the true nature of the conflict and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Consul General Aftab Chaudhry appreciated the young author’s scholarly efforts and commended his dedication to preserving and promoting an authentic understanding of the Kashmir issue. He stated that such intellectual contributions are vital in amplifying the Kashmiri voice and ensuring that the global community recognizes the realities of the decades-long struggle for self-determination.

Mr. Chaudhry reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering diplomatic, political, and moral support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, adding that academic research like Mr. Sultan’s plays a crucial role in countering misinformation and shaping informed international discourse on the region.
