Pakistani Community Joins Russian National Day Festivities in Houston

The Russian National Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm today at a vibrant event hosted by the Consul General of Russia in Houston. The evening brought together an esteemed gathering of dignitaries, diplomats, and community leaders from across the city to honor this important occasion.

Among the notable attendees was the Vice Consul General of Russia, Honorable Vladimir Proskuryakov, who graciously welcomed guests and actively engaged in cultural and diplomatic interactions throughout the evening.

Representatives from the Pakistani American community of Houston were also present to extend heartfelt felicitations to the people of the Russian Federation—recognizing the significance of international friendship, cultural exchange, and diplomatic collaboration.

Siraj Narsi, President of the Pakistan Association of Greater Houston, was among the guests, further emphasizing Houston’s spirit of cross-cultural unity and mutual respect.

The celebration served as a powerful reminder of the city’s multicultural harmony and the essential role diplomacy plays in strengthening global ties.
