Teen Police Academy Offers Unique Learning Opportunity

The Sugar Land Police Department is thrilled to announce its upcoming Teen Police Academy, designed exclusively for high school students aged 14 to 18. Scheduled from June 2 to June 13, 2025, the academy will run Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Engaging and Educational Program

This free program aims to educate young individuals on law enforcement and community safety through interactive sessions and hands-on activities. Participants will delve into various topics including:

  • Active Shooter Scenarios
  • Building Searches
  • Drug and Gang Education
  • DWI/Distracted Driving Awareness
  • First Aid and more!

Building Community Understanding

The Teen Police Academy seeks to enhance appreciation for the police profession and the significance of community engagement. It provides a dynamic environment for students to acquire valuable skills and knowledge.

Application Details

Interested students must apply by May 2, 2025, as spots are limited. Early application is encouraged to secure participation.
