Muzaffar Vohra has been officially endorsed by the Houston 80-20 Asian American Political Action Committee (H80-20 AAPAC) for the May 3, 2025, Sugar Land City Council At-Large Position 1 election.

Gratitude for Community Support

Vohra expressed deep appreciation for the endorsement, stating, “I am truly honored to have the trust and backing of H80-20 AAPAC. Their dedication to civic participation and elevating Asian American voices is commendable. I am excited to continue working toward a more inclusive, compassionate, and united Sugar Land.”

Engaging with Voters at Community Meet & Greet

As part of his campaign efforts, Vohra recently attended a Community Meet & Greet, where he had the opportunity to engage with voters from Commonwealth and surrounding neighborhoods. He emphasized the importance of open dialogue and community engagement, highlighting how these conversations help strengthen connections and address local concerns.

Advocating for Social Causes

Vohra also acknowledged the efforts of Claudine Vass and Vero Pina, who organized an event focused on animal rights, environmental protection, and civil rights. Reflecting on the experience, he stated, “I am truly inspired to stand alongside dedicated advocates who are making a meaningful impact in our community.”
