KCCI Leadership Welcomes Muhammad Saeed Sheikh

The President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), Muhammad Jawed Bilwani, welcomed Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, President of the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association, during his visit to the Chamber. In recognition of his efforts to strengthen ties between Houston and Karachi, a commemorative crest was presented to Mr. Sheikh by President Bilwani.

The event was graced by several distinguished members of KCCI, including Senior Vice President Zia ul Arfeen, Vice President Faisal Khalil, and Former Presidents Muhammad Junaid Makda, Muhammad Idrees, and Iftikhar Ahmed Sheikh. Former Vice President Muhammad Younus Soomro and members of the KCCI Managing Committee also participated in the meeting, demonstrating strong institutional support for fostering international city partnerships.

During the interaction, participants discussed avenues for greater collaboration between Karachi and Houston, focusing on trade development, cultural exchange, and community engagement.
Both sides emphasized the value of city-to-city diplomacy in building enduring people-to-people and business-to-business relations.

The visit highlighted the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation to promote economic opportunities and strengthen historical connections between the two cities.
