HOUSTON: ACCC – Ladies of Mission Bend hosted a special edition of “Coffee & Conversation: Get Out the Vote,” an event aimed at highlighting the importance of voting and encouraging community members to participate actively in the electoral process.
The gathering provided voters with an opportunity to meet candidates running for various public offices in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Attendees engaged in meaningful conversations, learned about the candidates’ perspectives and priorities, and had the opportunity to ask questions before making informed decisions.

Participants included Jeffrey L. Boney, Ken Mathews, Fort Bend County Commissioner Dexter L. McCoy, Monica Rawlins, candidate for the 328th District Court judge position, Surendran K. Pattel, Staci Childs, Brendetta Scott, and Bill Rickert, candidate for Fort Bend County Treasurer, along with other community members and guests.
The organizers thanked all the candidates and participants for supporting the initiative and recognizing the importance of civic engagement. They emphasized that voting is a fundamental way for citizens to make their voices heard and participate in decisions that shape their communities and future.

Community members were encouraged to make a plan to vote and motivate their family members and friends to exercise their right to vote.
The event highlighted a simple but powerful message: Every vote matters. Your vote is your voice, and your voice helps shape your future.
