The national flag was hoisted amid great respect and excitement. Attendees expressed a deep sense of pride as they remembered March 23, 1940, when the historic Lahore Resolution laid the groundwork for the creation of Pakistan. The ceremony reminded everyone of the sacrifices made for independence and the need to uphold the values of unity, faith, and discipline.

Families and young people took an active part in the celebrations, filling the atmosphere with patriotism and warmth. The gathering gave members of the community a chance to connect with one another, rejoice in their shared heritage, and teach the next generation about the importance of Pakistan’s national history.

The Pakistan Association of Greater Houston thanked all organizers, volunteers, and participants for making the event successful. The impressive turnout and enthusiastic involvement clearly reflected the strong spirit of solidarity and pride among Pakistanis living in Houston.
