Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH) has officially released the Schedule, Procedures, Rules & Guidelines (SPR&G) for the upcoming Executive Committee Elections 2025. Members have been urged to familiarize themselves with the election process, nomination rules, and eligibility criteria to ensure a transparent and fair democratic exercise in accordance with the PAGH Constitution and Bylaws.
Key Dates & Milestones Announced
- Deadline to Submit Nominations
Monday, November 3, 2025 — 5:00 PM CST at Pakistan Center
All nominations must include a non-refundable processing fee of $1,000 payable to PAGH by cashier’s check or money order. No incomplete or late submissions will be accepted. - Announcement of Qualified Candidates
Sunday, November 9, 2025 — 5:00 PM CST
Final candidate list will be released by the Election Commission. - Last Day to Withdraw Nominations
Thursday, November 13, 2025 — Before 7:00 PM CST
Withdrawals must be submitted in writing. No re-nominations will be allowed after withdrawal. - Membership List for Candidate Use
Friday, November 14, 2025 — 7:00 PM CST
A hard copy will be made available at the cost of $500. - Required Meeting with EC
Sunday, November 30, 2025 — 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM CST
Mandatory meeting for all qualified nominees to discuss rules, ethics, and expectations. - Meet-the-Candidate Forum
Sunday, December 7, 2025 — 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM CST at Pakistan Center
An open Q&A session between candidates and general membership. - Early Voting Window
Saturday, December 13, 2025 — 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
Early voting may be held for up to three days, subject to EC discretion. - General Elections — Voting Day
Sunday, December 14, 2025 — 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST at Pakistan Center
Voting will be held in person only. No proxy voting is allowed. Valid photo ID is mandatory. Minimum voting age is 16 years.
