A grand literary evening is being organized in Sugar Land, Texas to celebrate the Lifetime Achievements of internationally renowned Urdu poet Abbas Tabish. The event will recognize his landmark contributions to Urdu literature and his decades-long influence on contemporary poetry.
The ceremony, titled “An Evening with Abbas Tabish,” will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Elite Indo-Pak Restaurant in Sugar Land.
Attendance at this prestigious gathering is by invitation only and is expected to draw distinguished members of Houston’s literary, cultural, and South Asian communities who have long admired Abbas Tabish’s poetic legacy.
