Pakistan Association’s Literary Event in Houston – Scholarly Session on “In the Name of Marsiya Literature” to Be Held on August 3
Houston: The Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH) is organizing a special literary session on Sunday, August 3, at 6 PM at the Pakistan Center. The event is titled “In the Name of Marsiya Literature – A Historical Overview.”
Renowned scholars and literary personalities associated with Urdu literature will participate in the session, including Dr. Fatima Hasan, Sarfaraz Zaidi, Tasneem Abidi, and Adeel Zaidi. The speakers will shed light on the intellectual foundations, historical development, and literary significance of Marsiya (elegiac) literature in Urdu.
The Pakistani community and literature enthusiasts are invited to attend this meaningful gathering and benefit from the discourse on the relevance and depth of Marsiya literature.
