Among the candidates, Aqeel Virk is actively campaigning for the At-Large Position 1 on the Sugar Land City Council. Aqeel Virk’s Journey: From Military Service to Community Leadership

Aqeel Virk’s success story is one of dedication and perseverance. He served in the Pakistan Army for 15 years, retiring as a Major. In 2019, he moved to Sugar Land and established a thriving real estate business, earning recognition and trust within the community. His contributions extend beyond business, as he actively participates in Sugar Land’s social, agricultural, and cultural events. His deep understanding of community needs stems from years of hands-on involvement and leadership.

In 2024, Aqeel Virk ran for Fort Bend County Constable, gaining invaluable experience in public service and governance.
