Historical theatrical production presented through a collaboration between PAGH, Asia Society Texas, and Aga’s Restaurant and Catering
HOUSTON: The Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH), in collaboration with Asia Society Texas and Aga’s Restaurant and Catering, presented Jinnah: Triumph and Tragedy, a historical theatrical production exploring the life, leadership, and struggle of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The special program was held in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 150th birth anniversary of Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The play highlighted Jinnah’s political vision, commitment to principles, and struggle for the political rights of Muslims in British India, as well as his historic role in the creation of Pakistan. Through an inquiry by a University of Houston student, the production also explored the human side of the iconic leader behind the title of Quaid-e-Azam.
Alongside Jinnah’s remarkable achievements, the play portrayed the personal challenges and sacrifices associated with his unwavering commitment to a national cause.

The production offered audiences a distinctive perspective on the history of the subcontinent, the Pakistan Movement, and the journey toward the establishment of an independent nation. Its central themes emphasized Jinnah’s dedication to duty, steadfast principles, and commitment to his vision.
For the Pakistani American community, the event represented a meaningful effort to introduce younger generations to Quaid-e-Azam’s life, legacy, and enduring place in history.
