Houston: The Jamia Karachi Alumni Association Houston hosted a reception in honor of Professor Dr. Muhammad Tufail, Vice Chancellor of NED University of Engineering and Technology. The reception was held at Elite Indo-Pak Restaurant and was attended by Jamia Karachi alumni, friends, and members of the Pakistani American community.
During the event, attendees appreciated Professor Dr. Muhammad Tufail’s academic services and leadership while highlighting the longstanding connections with higher education institutions in Pakistan. The occasion also reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening ties with Jamia Karachi and educational institutions across Pakistan.

Faheem Akhoond, President of the Jamia Karachi Alumni Association Houston, hosted the reception in honor of Dr. Muhammad Tufail. Consul General of Pakistan in Houston, Aftab Chaudhry, also attended the event.
Members of Houston’s Pakistani American community gathered on the occasion in a warm and friendly atmosphere and expressed their support for the promotion of education.

Speakers emphasized that the Jamia Karachi Alumni Association Houston remains committed to strengthening connections between alumni and their universities while continuing to support students and educational opportunities in Pakistan.
