HOUSTON: Masjid Hamza organized a special family field trip under its STEM & DEEN program to mark the conclusion of its STEM classes. Students, parents, and teachers participated in the educational outing, which was designed to complement classroom learning with hands-on and engaging experiences in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
During the visit to the Lone Star Flight Museum, students closely explored historic aircraft, airplane engines, and modern flight technology. They learned how airplanes fly and gained an understanding of the important role STEM subjects play in the field of aviation.
The field trip also provided students with an opportunity to learn about different aircraft and their systems while gaining practical exposure to various aspects of science and technology.
Masjid Hamza volunteers played an important role in making the program successful. Organizers appreciated the volunteers for their efforts in coordinating the field trip, assisting students, and helping ensure the smooth execution of the program.
Participants described the field trip as an educational, informative, and enjoyable experience for the children. They said the students not only created wonderful memories but also gained new knowledge through hands-on learning and observation.
