Houston: The Juvenile Justice Advisory Council (JJAC) held its first official meeting of the new school year, drawing an outstanding turnout from participants.
During the meeting, discussions focused on planning meaningful events and programs aimed at strengthening relationships between youth and law enforcement, promoting mutual cooperation, and serving and strengthening the community.
Organizers said efforts are continuing to bring young people and law enforcement officers closer together through purposeful programs that contribute to building a stronger community.
They expressed gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making JJAC a positive and constructive platform, noting that the new school year has gotten off to a great start and that the journey is just beginning.
The meeting reaffirmed the council’s commitment to youth welfare, community service, and fostering positive relationships between young people and law enforcement agencies.
