Retired Educators Stress Protection of Public Education System

Houston: A meeting of retired educators in the Katy area focused on the protection of the public education system, teachers’ rights, and key issues facing educators during and after their careers.

Participants expressed their commitment to strengthening public education and ensuring that teachers receive essential facilities, rights, and protections both during their service and after retirement.

The participants emphasized that the public education system plays a fundamental role in the progress and development of society. They stressed the need for effective measures to strengthen the system and address the challenges faced by teachers.

Addressing the gathering, speakers said that voters should carefully consider their choices in the elections scheduled for November, particularly when selecting representatives who will support public education and protect teachers’ rights.

The meeting concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to continuing efforts to strengthen the public education system and advocate for the rights and welfare of educators.
