Initially aiming to raise $500,000, the community’s spirit of giving led to over $1 million collected by the evening’s end. The relief effort includes $500,000 in cash and an equivalent value in in-kind medical supplies, equipment, and winter essentials. These contributions will support ongoing rehabilitation projects in Pakistan, including medical aid, temporary housing, clean water provision, and school reconstruction.

Syed Javed Anwar: A Beacon of Philanthropy
The chief guest and Chief Patron of AFDR, renowned philanthropist Syed Javed Anwar, continued his legacy of generosity by donating $150,000. Addressing the audience, he emphasized:
“If you are blessed with abundance, share it. Every act of sincere giving returns multiplied by the grace of God.”
His heartfelt message resonated deeply, creating a spiritual and inspiring atmosphere. His leadership, compassion, and humility made the event both meaningful and memorable.

Javed Siddiqui, CEO of HHRD, highlighted that donations directed to Pakistan, Gaza, and other regions are directly transforming lives. Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, Coordinator of the Houston Alliance for Pakistan Flood Relief & Rehabilitation 2025, expressed gratitude to attendees and shared plans for upcoming initiatives.
