Sugar Land Mayor Carol McCutcheon visited ISGH Masjid Attaqwa (Synott Islamic Center) on Friday, where she met with members of the Muslim community right after Jummah prayers.

The gathering provided worshippers a chance to directly share their thoughts, questions, and concerns with the Mayor in an open and respectful dialogue. The conversation highlighted the importance of mutual understanding and stronger ties between city leadership and the Muslim community.
The interactive session was organized by community leader Muzaffar Vohra, who stressed the value of connecting elected officials with Sugar Land’s diverse communities.
