Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori met a delegation of American business leaders led by Tanveer Ahmed to explore avenues for foreign direct investment and expanded bilateral cooperation.

The delegation—comprising Dr. Asif Qadeer, Tahir Bhatti, and Shaukat Maredia—held in-depth talks on promoting investment across Sindh. Governor Tessori underscored that the province offers vast investment opportunities and that the provincial government is providing swift, investor-friendly facilitation to both local and foreign investors.
Philanthropy Empowering Youth
Highlighting Tanveer Ahmed’s contributions, the Governor noted his USD 9 million donation to NUST, a landmark effort enabling Pakistani youth to access cutting-edge IT education. He added that Ahmed remains actively engaged in broader welfare initiatives.
Tribute at Mazar-e-Quaid
On August 14, the American delegation visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, where they laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha in remembrance of the Founder of the Nation.
Preserving the Founder’s Legacy in Texas
It was also noted that Pakistani-Americans in the delegation have established a Quaid-e-Azam Library in Texas, housing rare artifacts and materials related to the life, work, and sayings of Quaid-e-Azam, ensuring his legacy remains accessible to future generations.
