The Quaid-e-Azam Foundation organized a grand and spirited Independence Day celebration in Houston, paying tribute to the vision, mission, and enduring legacy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The event was led by the Foundation’s Founder and Chairman, Dr. Asif Qadeer, and attended by a distinguished panel of speakers including Patron-in-Chief Air Commodore (R) Khalid Chishti, renowned TV anchor Aniq Ahmed, Ambassador Sada Qanbar, Aghaaz Restaurant owner Shaukat Mamedira, and youth leader Arisha Faisal.

The celebration drew a large gathering of youth, children, women, and elders from the Pakistani-American community, creating a lively atmosphere of patriotism and unity.

In his address, Dr. Asif Qadeer stated that his life’s mission is to preserve Quaid-e-Azam’s vision and continue highlighting his achievements. Air Commodore (R) Khalid Chishti linked Jinnah’s leadership principles to modern-day challenges, urging the community to adopt his teachings for Pakistan’s progress.

Ambassador Sada Qanbar presented rare, historically significant photographs taken by her father during the Pakistan Movement, giving attendees a nostalgic glimpse into the nation’s formative years. She emphasized that Quaid-e-Azam envisioned a Pakistan where minorities enjoy equal rights.

Aniq Ahmed delivered an in-depth discussion on the objectives of Pakistan’s creation in the light of the Quran and Sunnah, while Arisha Faisal inspired the audience by underscoring the role of youth as the backbone of Pakistan’s future.

The evening concluded with a renewed commitment among attendees to uphold Quaid-e-Azam’s ideals and work collectively for Pakistan’s unity, strength, and prosperity.
