The Texas House of Representatives has officially recognized March 23rd as ‘Pakistan Day’, marking a significant milestone for the Pakistani-American community. This resolution acknowledges their invaluable contributions to Texas in various social, religious, linguistic, and economic spheres.

During the resolution’s approval, Consul General of Pakistan in Texas, Muhammad Aftab Chaudhry, was present in the House, highlighting the diplomatic importance of this initiative.

Following the approval, Consul General Aftab Chaudhry met Speaker Dustin Burrows to express gratitude for supporting the resolution. During their discussion, the Consul General extended an official invitation to Pakistan for the Speaker, state representatives, and business leaders to strengthen economic and cultural ties between both nations.
Iftar Dinner at Texas Capitol
