Sugar Land Unveils Five New Little Libraries for Free Reads

Sugar Land’s Civic Arts Division has launched “The Art of Reading” campaign, bringing five little libraries to different locations throughout the city. The initiative aims to promote literacy while enhancing the community’s aesthetic with artwork. According to a Dec. 19 release, local artists Micah Salinas, Premo, W3r3on3, Ohnohedent, and Wade Indeed contributed to the creation of these libraries.
Details on the Little Libraries
These little libraries offer residents free reading materials and an opportunity to contribute by donating books for others to enjoy. The libraries will be accessible through February 7, and their locations include:
- Dulles High School
- Brazos River Park
- Clements High School
- Kempner High School
- Stadium Drive roundabout
