1. Sugar Land Town Square

Sugar Land’s lively town square offers shopping, dining, and fun activities for the whole family. It also hosts free kid-friendly events like Movie on the Square and the Jolly Trolly, featuring a bouncy obstacle course, mini gym, and an exciting playground that turns Mondays into magical playdays for kids.

2. Houston Museum of Natural Science Sugar Land

The Houston Museum of Natural Science’s Sugar Land location may be smaller, but it’s packed with exhibits perfect for kids. Highlights include the Hall of Paleontology, the Hall of Technology, and the interactive Discovery Works. A favorite among kids is the Dig Pit, where they can use shovels, brushes, and trowels to unearth fossils hidden beneath recycled material. Bonus: HMNS members enjoy free admission to the general exhibits at this location!

3. Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center

The Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center, a sister location of Children’s Museum Houston, brings kid-friendly fun to Sugar Land—and memberships work at both! While smaller than the Houston site, it features popular attractions like Kidtropolis and the Tot Spot, along with special programs and events throughout the year.

4. Constellation Field

At Constellation Field, you can watch the minor league team, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, in action while kids enjoy exciting activities like a playground, splash pad, batting simulator, and plenty of kid-friendly concessions.

5. Brazos River Park

Brazos River Park, stretching across 67 acres along the Brazos River, features a fantastic new playground and pavilion. It boasts miles of trails, including paved paths for walking, scootering, or skating, as well as mountain biking trails. The pump track is a standout favorite!

6. The Play Space Sugar Land

Sugar Land is home to Texas’s largest indoor playground, The Play Space Sugar Land, recently opened with over 6,000 square feet of fun! It features tunnels, exciting obstacles, and massive slides, plus dedicated play areas for babies (up to 18 months) and toddlers (up to 4 years old). With an arcade and an on-site café, it’s the perfect spot for a fun-filled day for kids and families.

7. Cheeky Monkeys Sugar Land

Designed for kids 8 and younger, with a separate toddler play space and a pretend play area, this indoor venue is perfect for preschoolers and toddlers. It also features an on-site café for a relaxing break while the kids play.

8. Funtastik Labs Sugar Land
Funtastik Labs recently opened a new location in Sugar Land, offering a fun, educational, and engaging experience for kids. It’s a hands-on Science and Slime Museum with activities like slime making, science experiments, ceramic and canvas painting, and robot building. The best part? They clean up the mess while parents can enjoy the fun with their kids!

9. Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center

A fun way to beat the heat or get into the holiday spirit is by ice skating! Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center offers public skating hours that are fun, affordable, and provide a great workout for the whole family.

10. Smart Financial Centre

Smart Financial Centre is a state-of-the-art events venue in Sugar Land, hosting kid-friendly shows like Disney Jr. Live and family-friendly performances like Cirque Du Soleil. It’s the perfect spot to catch a show that the whole family can enjoy.
