HOUSTON: Parents and community members are being encouraged to actively participate in the Texas State Board of Education elections to help secure a better educational future for children, promote quality education in public schools, and play a meaningful role in shaping education policies.
During the ongoing election campaign, speakers emphasized that children’s education should remain a top priority and that citizens’ voices and votes are essential in decisions affecting the future of the next generation.

The Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) plays an important role in establishing curriculum standards for public schools across the state, reviewing instructional materials, and approving educational resources. The board’s decisions directly influence the quality of education students receive, classroom instruction, and the educational opportunities available to future generations.
The campaign also stressed the importance of parents, educators, and community members staying engaged in educational issues and exercising their right to vote. Active public participation can help support educational policies that advance student achievement and improve the quality of education in public schools.

On this occasion, the campaign also called on eligible voters to support Tiffany Perkinz, a candidate for Texas State Board of Education District 7, and Dr. Dana, a candidate for District 8, by casting their votes in their favor.
According to the campaign organizers, community involvement and public participation are essential to advancing children’s education and building a better future. They emphasized that active engagement in the electoral process can play a significant role in achieving these goals.
