Houston: Pakistan Business Forum Houston, Texas, organized a special seminar featuring Elizabeth Threlkeld, Director of the South Asia Center in Washington, D.C. During the event, Threlkeld answered questions from participants and shared her experiences and insights from her time living in Pakistan, particularly in Peshawar and Islamabad.
Threlkeld discussed her experiences in both cities, highlighting her familiarity with Pakistan’s social environment and local culture. Her proficiency in the Pashto language also attracted considerable interest among attendees. Her ability to speak Pashto fluently was a particular point of interest for participants.
The seminar provided attendees with an opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the guest speaker on issues related to South Asia.
