Stafford: Houston Community College’s Stafford Workforce Center celebrated Manufacturing Day in partnership with Tesla, giving students practical insight into the future of modern manufacturing and the industrial sector.
Stafford Municipal School District seniors participating in HCC’s dual-credit welding program attended the event. Students learned about career and employment opportunities at Tesla’s Megafactory in Brookshire, Texas.

The partnership between HCC and Tesla aims to provide students and Tesla employees with technical training in the skills needed by the company as it continues to expand its operations.
Through the program, students had an opportunity to learn about the needs of the modern manufacturing industry, technical training, and potential career pathways. Such partnerships between educational institutions and industry leaders help students gain practical skills alongside their academic studies and prepare for their professional careers.
