MISSOURI CITY: The NAACP Missouri City & Vicinity Branch hosted its annual Freedom Fund Heritage Celebration, attended by branch officers and members, elected public officials, political candidates, prominent community leaders, and a large number of guests.
A former president of the NAACP Missouri City & Vicinity Branch also attended the event. Joining branch members in celebrating the occasion, the former president said it was a pleasure and an honor to participate in the annual Freedom Fund Heritage Celebration.
The former president congratulated current Branch President Linda Coleman and all branch members on the successful organization of the event and commended their efforts.
During the celebration, the NAACP’s contributions to civil rights, equality, community development, and positive social engagement were highlighted. Participants emphasized the importance of collective efforts to protect civil rights and address issues affecting the community.
The Freedom Fund Heritage Celebration also provided an opportunity for NAACP members, supporters, and community representatives to come together while recognizing the organization’s longstanding efforts in advancing civil rights and social equality.
