Fort Bend County: Special activities were organized to honor senior citizens during Senior Citizens’ Day at the Fort Bend County Fair, featuring bingo, lunch, dancing, and other activities.
Volunteers served lunch to the seniors, participated in bingo, and contributed prizes for the games. Participants also spent time with the seniors, listened to their life experiences and memories, and shared many enjoyable moments together.
A volunteer attending the event said that senior citizens have played an important role in building and developing the Fort Bend County community, and honoring their contributions is a privilege. The volunteer said spending time with seniors, listening to their stories, and sharing moments of joy made the event a memorable experience.
The volunteer also thanked the Fort Bend County Fair volunteers and organizers for their efforts in making Senior Citizens’ Day a successful event.
The volunteer emphasized that senior citizens are a valuable part of the community and deserve to be respected and appreciated not just on one day, but every day.
