STAFFORD, Texas: A growing partnership between Houston City College and Tesla is helping prepare workers for careers in advanced manufacturing, with Tesla employees completing hands-on workforce training Sept. 11 at HCC’s Stafford Campus.
The training, held at the Workforce Center, provided employees with practical skills in advanced manufacturing and industrial production as they prepare for their roles at Tesla’s Megafactory Texas.
The program is part of an expanding workforce partnership between Houston City College Southwest and Tesla, focused on equipping employees with job-ready skills that meet the needs of today’s manufacturing industry.
The collaboration also reflects a broader effort to strengthen the local workforce by connecting employees with practical training they can immediately apply on the job.
