PULSE (Promoting Unity and Leadership for Social Empowerment) has officially unveiled its flagship program, the Pakistan Coaching Center, through a strategic collaboration with the Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH). This launch marks a key step forward in PULSE’s ongoing dedication to empowering youth, delivering structured education, and fostering lasting community growth.
More Than an Educational Facility
The Pakistan Coaching Center goes beyond traditional schooling. It serves as a holistic platform that integrates strong academics, cultural heritage, and essential modern skills to guide Pakistani American youth in Houston toward success.
Focus on Vision and Execution
At the launch event, PULSE President Faysal Aziz Khan presented the center as the outcome of extensive planning and community input. He stressed its dual purpose: helping young people stay rooted in their heritage while preparing them with contemporary knowledge and abilities for worldwide opportunities.

He added that the initial phase will support hundreds of students, with future expansion planned to reach additional sites throughout Houston.
PULSE Executive Director Najia Ashar underscored the group’s emphasis on action and results. She noted that operations are now underway, featuring a well-organized curriculum, qualified teachers, up-to-date technology, and ongoing monitoring of student progress. The aim extends past academics to nurturing self-assurance, leadership abilities, and readiness for the long term.

Ashar explained that the center will prioritize clear goals, accountability measures, and long-term viability, in line with PULSE’s mission to amplify voices, build competencies, and promote active citizenship.
A Balanced Approach to Youth Growth
The center’s program combines Urdu language lessons, cultural education, and personal character building. It also includes STEM subjects such as mathematics, science, information technology, and artificial intelligence, alongside leadership development and civic education.
This design deliberately connects cultural grounding with competitive edge, allowing students to maintain their identity while acquiring the skills needed to thrive in the United States.
PAGH’s Role in Community Collaboration
As a trusted pillar of Houston’s Pakistani community for many years, PAGH contributes strong leadership and deep-rooted confidence to the partnership.

PAGH President Siraj Narsi called the project a response to a longstanding community desire. He pointed out that although many young people have succeeded, families have wanted a focused space where children can preserve their language, heritage, and principles.
PAGH General Secretary Aamir Askari Zaidi highlighted the mutual dedication driving the effort, describing the launch as the achievement of a shared goal to secure a brighter future for the coming generation.
Support for Future Leaders
Attendees at the Sehri event described the announcement as a landmark moment, seeing it as the start of an organized, enduring effort to develop youth among Houston’s Pakistani Americans.
Leaders present the Pakistan Coaching Center as a replicable framework that merges cultural continuity with rigorous academic training and leadership growth.

With Ramadan representing contemplation and fresh starts, organizers expressed optimism that this program will spark meaningful change across generations—instilling in Houston’s young people a sense of assurance, capability, and deep connection to their community.
The Pakistan Coaching Center is set to begin its first phase of operations later this year.
