A spectacular poetry gathering was held at the American Urdu TV studio in Houston, organized by Hamara Houston. The event featured local Houston poets of international acclaim, who presented their poetry to the audience. The full recording of the session will soon be broadcast on the same channel.
The event was masterfully hosted by Hamara Houston’s executive producer and renowned poet-thinker Majeed Akhtar. The president of the gathering was Dr. Afzaal Firdous, while Dr. Asaf Qadeer and Shahid Hashmi attended as special guests.
The poets who presented their work included Majeed Akhtar, Dr. Khalid Rizvi, Shah Ahmad Ghazali, Farah Iqbal, Basit Jalili, Adeel Zaidi, Dr. Asaf Qadeer, and Dr. Afzaal Firdous.This remarkable gathering not only celebrated literary talent but also marked an important step in promoting Urdu poetry in Houston.
