The Pakistan Chamber of Commerce USA (PCC-USA) hosted a prestigious ceremony in Houston to honor the outstanding literary achievements of Ammar Habib, a bestselling and award-winning author celebrated for his contributions to contemporary literature.

The event brought together a distinguished gathering of leaders, dignitaries, and community members from across the Pakistani-American diaspora. Among the notable attendees were Salman Razzaqi, Patron-in-Chief and Chairman of the Advisory Council; Zain Maredia, Legal Counsel; Ashar Shahzad, Vice Consul General of Pakistan; and Ghulam Khan, President of the Pakistan Heritage Foundation (PHF).
Prominent figures who graced the occasion also included Ghazanfer Hashmi of ARY Network, Siraj Narsi, President of the Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH), Dr. Yasmeen Qureshi, Faheem Akhoond, President of JKAAH, Shahid Sunni, President of MCUSA, and Mumtaz Khan, a Founding Member of PCC-USA.

A special honor was accorded to Judge Bacerra of the 434th District Court for his public service. The ceremony further recognized the dedicated efforts of PCC-USA leadership, including Amir Piprani (President), S.M. Ali (Vice President), Manal Jaffer (General Secretary), Fauzia Khalil Khan (Joint Secretary), Talha Shabbir (Treasurer), Furukh Khan, and Affaf Sharif.

The program highlighted the fruitful collaboration with both the Pakistan Heritage Foundation and the Quaid-e-Azam Foundation, whose continued support played a vital role in the event’s success.

This celebration of Ammar Habib’s accomplishments underscores the Pakistani-American community’s dedication to recognizing excellence in arts, culture, and intellectual contributions on a global stage.
