The vibrant atmosphere of Sugar Land Town Square came alive with unity and purpose as community members gathered for the annual BAPS Charity Walk. The event served as a powerful display of solidarity and civic engagement, raising funds to support several impactful local organizations.

Proceeds from the walk will benefit charitable causes including Behind the Badge Charities, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), and the Stafford MSD Education Foundation—each playing a vital role in addressing mental health, supporting first responders, and enhancing educational opportunities in the region.

Among the many distinguished attendees was Dr. Zeenat Mitha, District 4 Sugar Land City Council candidate, who joined the event to show support for the community and its shared commitment to meaningful change.
The event not only promoted health and wellness but also emphasized the importance of collective action in uplifting and empowering those in need across Fort Bend County.
